In my first year of university, I took a lot of photos. Then second year started, and I was following the same trend. Then suddenly I thought to myself, its nice having all these photos, and being able to access them digitally, but maybe it would be nice to have physical copies of them, as a record of all the fun times I’ve had. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to look back and see all those memories in one place? That’s when I decided to start making a photo album. I’m writing this now because I have finally managed to catch up with where I am in my life with my album as of today.

As something for making me happy, nothing quite matches the amazing feeling of looking back at all those photos and reliving the memories that go with them. Especially at the moment, not being able to see friends in person and create new memories and photos, being able to go back is an incredibly powerful tool. I love being able to look back and see my friends and myself, reminding me of how long certain people have been by my side, and how quickly some have made an impact on my life. Two of my closest friends appear on the first pages of the album, and one appears later, and yet these people all have a massive impact on my life, and will all be people I will want to keep in my life for the rest of it.

That’s what a photo album can be. A reminder of what we have, the experiences we’ve had, and those yet to come.

Maybe consider doing something similar, and see what a difference a small thing can make.

I’ll leave it here for today, but remember to remember the good times! So for now, this is Conor, signing off
